Really interesting historic building. Each room is different. Food was decent. Worth a visit to experience the ambiance of such an old structure.

Went today with 12 other ladies for lunch. Waitress was amazing couldn't ask for better service. Food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their course. I had blackened chicken salad which was plentiful and very fresh. Other items ordered were fried scallop, quesadillas, calzones, chicken parmesan. Extensive wine list good pour,reasonably priced. I took home peanut butter pie for husband who said best ever!! Highly recommend!

Ate here for lunch day before a marathon in Narragansett. It was a great decision and meal was too. Had: Chicken Nachos (good) Chicken brocolli Alfredo (great)

My husband and I recently discovered Carriage inn and decided to try it and we've been once or twice a week since! Food is amazing, staffing is so nice and inviting and love to interact with our baby which is so sweet. We love everything about Carriage Inn and even booked to have our daughter's first birthday party in the beautiful party room they have!

Visiting from out of town. Was worried that there were no late night eateries in the area. I did call ahead and asked what their last seating time was at. We were pleasantly surprised! Monday night special. Bottle of wine. Server was the sweetest guy, Bodie! Clean restaurant. Family friendly. Wish we could have ordered dessert, but we were full from their large portions.

Surprisingly good! I hadn't been here in years (literally decades!) and though it's changed hands a few times since and undergone some facelifts, I'm happy to state that the food is much improved and better than my past visits. I had their jambalaya which was flavorful and carried a real spicy kick (which was even better the next day as the portion was generous); this dish paired perfectly with a cold IPA draft (Whalers East Coast). My daughters had a pulled pork sandwich and a patty melt, respectively; and my wife had their veggie burger. All were deemed well cooked and tasty, and with nice crispy fries. Service was prompt and friendly; plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I lived 20 minutes from here for 30 years and had never been! This was such a cute and comforting dining experience, please visit this restaurant & try the steak! Our server was great, friendly, and gave suggestions when we ordered appetizers. We waited at the bar for our table and I love how it's secretly long, part of it is cozy, loved the atmosphere.

If you're looking for good ol' homestyle cooking then Carriage Inn has you covered. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we certainly didn't leave room for dessert, which I regretted based on their dessert menu options. We had the mozzarella sticks, wings and French onion soup as our appetizers. For our meals, we had Mac n cheese, the sirloin tips, kids chicken fingers, and a burger. If you get the sirloin tips, get it without the whiskey sauce because the sauce doesn't go with the peppers and onions on it. The kids Mac n cheese is real Mac n cheese (PTL!) and all of our appetizers were great! Our waitress was great! She had great recommendations and was on top of things! It was a nice quiet late lunch and we've decided that there are so many good things on the menu that we want to try so we will have to return!
